Entrance Controls was established in Seattle Washington in 1964, the Portland Regional Office was established in 1982, and we opened a Spokane Washington Office in 2004. Entrance Controls has developed a national reputation as an industry leader. In addition to working in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho: Entrance Controls has completed work for our clients based in the Pacific Northwest that has taken us across the country. Our business has evolved from our core competency in access control to include: ID Management, CCTV, Intrusion Detection with Monitoring, Digital and Network Video Recording, IP Video, Gates and Parking with Revenue Control, Intercoms, Fiber, and other low voltage security solutions.

The security industry has progressed from proprietary hardware and software manufactures, to open systems leveraging customer networks and generic hardware. Entrance Controls has set the pace, and selects the solutions that lead the industry.

Entrance Controls places great importance on technical skill, experience, and industry specific expertise. We have long valued and trained our people in technical areas. In the last several years we have expanded our training to include certifications in professional project management and IT skills. Entrance Controls has introduced industry specific programs offered by Enterprise Performance Consulting (EPC) to insure our people have the project management skills to execute a project efficiently, and deal with the many challenges that arise in construction. Our clients remember the way the project was managed as much as the product that was installed. Our project managers are trained in the fundamental aspects of project management and project documentation. They follow a distinct process on every job. This provides consistency and a predictable outcome. Entrance Controls has the ability to project manage and execute projects on a local or enterprise level

Entrance Controls also staffs a separate Professional Services Group. This group includes applications specialists, IT professionals, and field technicians trained and certified in our core products. They are dedicated to our service and support effort. This ensures a timely and professional response.

Sales and Service

Entrance Controls guarantees a 30 minute response via phone for all service requests. Depending on the support contract in force, on-time response can be as short as 60 minutes. Entrance Controls leverages the help desk module of our ES2000 ERP software to track and resolve all calls, with history available by customer, location, device, and even by service technician. Our goal is to provide the highest quality support available.
